Follow the yellow brick road into a land of enchantment & make-believe where little pirates can sail the high seas on The Pirate Queen, fairies can have tea in fairyland & kids can climb towards the clouds in our tree fort! The Woodland Cafe waits in Hobbitville for kids to create mud pies or mud cakes, the rain forest beckons kids to run through the cool mist & our costume room welcomes kids to dress up for creative fun!
Science is the attraction at Mote Aquarium! Mote Aquarium is your gateway to the ocean, featuring hundreds of marine animal species and windows into Mote Marine Laboratory, where real scientific research happens. Word of Advice: Reserve your tickets before you go to ensure admission.
Crowley Museum and Nature Center is a 191-acre farmstead established in 1878. Site includes rare Florida habitat, pioneer buildings, and heritage farm animals. For 40 years Crowley has provided children’s programming that explores pioneer history, develops self-reliance, creates a connection to nature, and imparts practical skills for living like wilderness survival and farming in a real world setting.
Big Cat Habitat Conservation and Education Center is a diverse zoological park located just minutes from historic downtown Sarasota and the pristine beaches! Sitting on 20+ acres we welcome over 50k guests to visit, encounter, experience, and fall in love with over 350 animals spanning more than 60 different species.
Historic Spanish Point is a 33-acre museum and environmental complex located in Osprey, Florida. The museum includes an archeological exhibit of a prehistoric shell mound known as a midden, a turn-of-the-century pioneer homestead historic house museum, a citrus packing house, a chapel, boatyard, gardens, and nature trails.
